The man's father was a farm labourer who owned two acres of land. He tried in vain to explain to him about his financial situation. His parents took him to Siddipet on May 30 and offered to buy another car for him, but he refused. Later that afternoon, he consumed a "poisonous" substance, police said.
According to officials at the Jagadevpur police station, the man had dropped out of his studies and was reportedly struggling with alcohol addiction and mental health issues. He frequently got into arguments with his parents, demanding expensive items such as a luxury car and a modern house.
According to the police, the man drank some unknown pesticide in his field and then went back to his house and told his parents about the extreme step. This incident took place on May 30, and he died the next day at a hospital while undergoing treatment. He was taken to a hospital and died while undergoing treatment on May 31.
The father of the deceased man lodged a complaint and a case was registered.
