Some hospitals colluded with certain individuals to siphon off state government funds meant for the CMRF, stated the registered FIR by D.S.N Murthy.
Among the hospitals that were named in the FIR are Hiranyaa Hospital in Meerpet, Delta Hospital in Hasithnapuram, Sree Raksha Hospital BN Reddy Nagar, R.R. Dist MMS Hospital in Rangareddy, ADRM Multi Specialty Hospital in Kothapet, MMV Indira Multi Speciality Hospital in Kothapet, and Sri Sai Thirumala Hospital in Bairamalguda, the news agency reported.
"Employees and some of the local persons in collusion with the hospital administration and others dishonestly attempted to siphon off the State Govt. funds. The individuals created fake bills for their wrongful gain. After the preparation of the bills, the same were submitted to the Hon'ble Chief Minister of TS for the sanction of CMRF, and thereby they committed forgery and attempted to cheat the government", the FIR stated.
The CMRF provides financial assistance to those individuals who are facing health issues, have lost loved ones, suffered property damage, or lost livelihoods due to natural disasters, as well as accident victims. It was also utilized to combat COVID-19 in 2020.
