Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin congratulates Guidance for winning Best Investment Promotion Agency Award

Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin on Wednesday congratulated the State’s investment promotion agency, Guidance, for winning the ‘Best Investment Promotion Agency Award’ in Asia Oceania Region at the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) 2022, which is an initiative of the Ministry of Economy of the United Arab Emirates.

"These highly acclaimed Investment Awards are a crucial chapter of AIM Congress and were launched for the first time at AIM 2013. This coveted recognition gives Guidance the honour of showcasing the Tamil Nadu growth story at a Global Forum," Stalin said in a tweet.

Guidance, the investment promotion and single-window facilitation wing of the Industries Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, has played a pivotal role in presenting the opportunities for business in Tamil Nadu since 1992. With over 60 employees, Guidance has been responsible for aiding hundreds of companies in establishing their operations through its paperless and contactless services in Tamil Nadu.


The Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) is an initiative of the UAE Ministry of Economy designed to provide a framework for global exchange on the Key principles underpinning international investment policies, strategies and practices for sustainable development to achieve smart and inclusive global growth. AIM 2022 event saw participation from governments, investors and corporates from across the globe.
