Tamil Nadu: ABVP meets Vijay; submits 16 student demands for education reforms, CM assures action

A delegation of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad met Vijay at the State Secretariat in Chennai and submitted a 16-point memorandum on student and education-related issues. The demands included student union elections, Tamil language courses, filling vacant Vice Chancellor posts, better education infrastructure, research funding, and anti-narcotics measures near campuses. ABVP said the Chief Minister agreed to act immediately on eight demands and assured consideration of the remaining issues.
