Taapsee Pannu reveals major secret about her wedding date that no fans knew

Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu recently revealed a major secret about her personal life. Fans believed she tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Mathias Boe in March this year during an intimate ceremony in Udaipur. However, during a candid conversation at Agenda Aaj Tak, the actress disclosed that her wedding actually took place in December 2023.

Taapsee explained, "People didn't get to know because we didn't send out any press release. And actually, we didn't get married this year, we got married last year in December. Now we'll be completing a year soon. Yeh baat shayad main aaj nahi bolti toh kisiko pataa bhi nahi chalti (People still wouldn't know this if I didn't say it today)."

The 'Dunki' actress shared why she kept her marriage private. According to Taapsee, keeping her personal and professional lives separate was a deliberate decision. She said, "We wanted our personal life to remain personal. I've seen that with my colleagues that when your personal and professional life get interlinked, it's not good for both. The credit of the highs and lows of your professional life starts going to your personal life. And your personal life starts getting affected. Hence I wanted to draw a very clear line that my personal life will remain personal and professional life will remain professional."


She also clarified that her decision wasn’t about hiding anything. "I have never tried to hide anything. I know him since 2013, and now it's been 11 years. So, I'm not hiding anything. I announce my movies. But I didn't feel the need to announce my wedding or my husband," Taapsee added.

Taapsee Pannu, who was last seen in 'Haseen Dilruba 2', remains a shining example of a celebrity who values her privacy while balancing her career in the limelight.
