Swiggy, Zomato, Amazon gig workers to go on strike on Dec. 31, protest pay and 10-minute deliveries
Gig workers across India, including Swiggy, Zomato, and Amazon staff, will strike on December 31, demanding better pay and an end to 10-minute deliveries. The Telangana Gig and Platform Workers Union (TGPWU) called the nationwide protest to address unfair working conditions, blocked IDs, algorithm issues, and lack of social security.
