Available on both Swiggy Food and Instamart, Incognito Mode provides a level of privacy for users who want to keep their orders confidential. This includes items like personal wellness products on Swiggy Instamart, which can now be bought without concern that their choices will be visible to others.
"As social interactions become more pervasive, there are still aspects of our lives we prefer to keep private," said Rohit Kapoor, CEO of Swiggy's Food Marketplace. "Incognito Mode addresses this need by allowing users to enjoy Swiggy’s diverse offerings with enhanced privacy. Whether you're ordering a meal or making a quick purchase, this feature ensures your choices stay private."
Currently, Incognito Mode is available to 10 percent of Swiggy users, with plans to extend it to all users soon. To activate the feature, users simply toggle the Incognito Mode option in their cart. A confirmation reminder will appear to confirm the mode is active. Orders placed in Incognito Mode will remain trackable for three hours post-delivery, after which they will be discreetly hidden from order history, ensuring full privacy for users.
