Swati Maliwal's FIR: AAP MP details alleged assault by Kejriwal's secretary at CM residence
Deeply distressing details have emerged over Aam Aadmi Party's Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal's ordeal at Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's residence by his PS Bibhav Kumar, as per a copy of the FIR accessed by The Economic Times.

Maliwal in her FIR claimed that she was waiting to meet Kejriwal at his residence when Kumar approached her and started assaulting her without provocation.

"He slapped me 7-8 times at least while I continued screaming. I pushed him away to protect myself. At that time he pounced on me, brutally dragged me and deliberately pulled my shirt up," Maliwal claimed.

While being assaulted by Kumar, Maliwal told him that she was having her periods, but to no avail.

"Then when (Kumar) realised that I had called 112, he went out of the rom. Bibhav came back with security personnel working at the main gate of the CM camp offices. They came and asked me to leave at the behest of Bibhav. I kept telling them that I was brutally beaten up and they should look at my condition and wait until the PCR police comes. However, they asked me to leave the premises. I was taken outside the CM residence and I sat briefly on the floor outside the house as I was in deep pain," Maliwal said.

"The PCR police came but I was completely dazed and left the place by walking towards my previous residence in Civil Lines," Maliwal said.

Kejriwal stays mum on Maliwal

The BJP attacked Kejriwal after he refused to comment on the Maliwal "assault" matter during a press conference in Lucknow. He was flanked by Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav and AAP Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh.

Kejriwal avoided a question on the issue and it was fielded by Singh who said his party has already made its stand clear on the issue.

On Tuesday, at a press conference in Delhi, Singh had accepted that Kumar had "misbehaved" with Maliwal.

When Kejriwal was avoiding the question, Yadav took the microphone and said, "There are more important things than that".
