Swaroop Nagar fire: 6 injured in blaze at sports goods manufacturing factory in Delhi

A fire broke out at a factory manufacturing judo dresses and boxing gloves in Delhi’s Swaroop Nagar area, leaving six people injured as panic triggered residents of an opposite building to jump from their houses, police told ANI.

The fire broke out on the ground and first floors of a building at Khasra No. 357/58 in Gali No. 2, Swaroop Nagar. The incident was reported at Swaroop Nagar police station.

None of the citizens got injured directly in the fire.


All the injured were taken to hospital and are out of danger, Delhi Police said.

Fire tenders were deployed at the spot and the blaze has been brought under control.
