Supreme Court stays bail for Unnao Rape convict Kuldeep Sengar
The Supreme Court on Monday stayed the Delhi High Court’s order that had granted bail to Unnao rape convict Kuldeep Sengar. A three-judge bench led by Chief Justice of India Surya Kant directed that Sengar will remain in custody. The CBI had challenged the High Court’s decision, and the Supreme Court issued a notice to Sengar, asking him to respond within two weeks.
