South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol raised the issue of more friendly conditions for South Korean companies in India during the bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on Sunday, according to the country's envoy to India Chang Jae-bok.

At an interaction here on Tuesday Jae-bok said, "We wish Indian authorities should work harder to make the business environment more friendly to Korean businesses. We hope India will respond positively." He said that India and South Korea are negotiating expansion of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) and have so far held 10 rounds of discussions but there are a lot of issues unresolved and that after the bilateral meeting between the two leaders on the sidelines of the G20 summit there is some momentum.
