Sonam Wangchuk hunger strike: Doctor warns ‘third stage could be alarming’ amid day 19 fast
Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk’s hunger strike entered its 19th day at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, with doctors saying he has lost more than 9 kilograms while remaining mentally alert and medically stable. The medical team said elevated uric acid levels indicate muscle breakdown and added that it is maintaining round-the-clock monitoring for any signs of organ involvement.
