Social media platform X back after facing global outage for almost 30 mins

Several users of social media platform X reported that the platform's website and app were down globally. There was a massive spike reported by users on Downdetecor at around 3:10 pm IST.

After almost 30 minutes of disruption, users were able to access the micro-blogging site.

The Elon Musk led company has not issued a statement as to why the platform is facing problems. The platform has not had such an issue in the recent past, while other applications, including Instagram and Facebook, have had to face outage issues.


More than 21,000 incidents of people in the US reporting issues with the platform emerged, while in the UK more than 10,800 incidents came to light, as per Reuters report citing Downdetector.
