A Mysuru-based RTI activist on Thursday filed a private complaint against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in a court designated to hear cases against people's representatives.

Judge Gajanana Bhat has referred the complaint from Snehamayi Krishna for the verification of documents, and the case is expected to come up for hearing on Friday.

The complaint is related to the alleged unlawful allotment of sites by Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA).

While the government is probing the MUDA site allotment scam, the CM too is battling allegations of accepting 14 pricey plots in an upscale area in Mysuru in return for giving up his claim on 3.16 acre of land on Mysuru outskirts.
