Telangana High Court grants bail to Sigachi CEO Amit Raj Sinha in fatal factory fire case.


Sigachi Industries ‍said on Wednesday that Telangana ⁠High Court has granted bail to Chief Executive Amit ‌Raj ‌Sinha in connection to ‌a case linked to last year's deadly factory fire.

Sinha was remanded in ​late-December as a ​part of a probe ‌launched ‍to investigate ‍the factory fire at Sigachi's ‌chemical unit in the southern part of India, which killed 40 people.

"We continue to extend our ‍full cooperation to the investigating authorities ‍and ⁠the ⁠judicial process to ensure that the matter is addressed in a fair and transparent manner," the company said on Wednesday.
