Sidhu Moosewala's parents welcome baby boy, father shares photo

Almost two years after Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was killed his parents Balkaur Singh, and Charan Kaur welcomed a baby boy on Sunday. "With the blessings of millions of souls who love Shubhdeep, the Almighty has put Shubh's younger brother in our lap. With the blessings of Waheguru, the family is healthy and thankful to all the well-wishers for their immense love," Sidhu Moosewala father said in a social media post.

Slain Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu was popularly known as Sidhu Moosewala.

According to reports, Moosewala's mother underwent vitro-fertilisation therapy (IVF) to conceive the baby. His father also urging caution regarding rumors circulating about the family. He said that any news about the family will be shared.


He attributed the arrival of their newborn son to the blessings of the Almighty, acknowledging the well-wishes and support bestowed upon them by countless individuals. He also informed that his wife's health is fine, conveying their heartfelt appreciation for the outpouring of support.

Accompanying the joyful news is a photograph of the proud father cradling the newborn, symbolizing the family's happiness and the beginning of a new chapter. Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead on May 29, 2022, in Mansa. He was 28. The late singer had fought an election from Mansa but had lost it.

In August 2022, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) filed a case against the criminal syndicate led by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his associates under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. The agency's probe revealed that the syndicate had established extensive criminal networks resembling mafia operations across various states in the country. These networks were implicated in numerous high-profile crimes, including the murders of renowned Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. Last month, the Punjab Police announced the arrest of a close associate of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who facilitated safe havens for the perpetrators involved in the assassination of singer Sidhu Moosewala.
