Sibi George appointed India's next ambassador to Japan

George has been appointed as India's next Ambassador to Japan, and he is expected to start soon, according to a statement from the Ministry of External Affairs.

Sibi George, a senior diplomat, was named the next Indian ambassador to Japan on Monday. George, an Indian Foreign Service officer from the 1993 batch, is currently the Ambassador of India to Kuwait. He will take over as India's envoy to Japan from Sanjay Kumar Verma.
