In his LinkedIn post, Bansal, also a prominent judge on the 'Shark Tank India' show, specified Lenskart's need for land within a 60-kilometer radius of the Bengaluru airport. Minister Patil assured Bansal of the Industries Department's full support and immediate assistance from concerned officials.
"Karnataka is the place to be! @peyushbansal @Lenskart_com Industries Department is here to support you, and facilitate all your needs. Concerned officials will reach out, immediately," the minister said.
Minister Patil has issued necessary directives to facilitate Lenskart's establishment of its manufacturing unit in Bengaluru, Press Trust of India reported citing sources. This proactive response from the Karnataka government has garnered praise from numerous individuals on 'X'.
"Respected minister and Peyush : please do plan your project location at Bagalkot or Bijapur , you will get land with reasonable price , low cost manpower ... we have good connectivity to Maha, HYD, and other parts of Karnataka .. already Bengaluru is overcrowded," said an user.
Another said: "Please put it in a water-rich place, not near Bangalore city. Go beyond, north of the airport."
