A software engineer has been taken into custody by Delhi police in the Parliament security breach case, news agencies reported on December 21.

The man has been identified as Saikrishna Jagali from Vidyagiri in Karnataka’s Bagalkote. He is the son of a retired deputy Superintendent of Police.

Jagali's sister Spanda said a Delhi police team came and took her brother with them, PTI reported. "It is true that the Delhi Police came. My brother was interrogated. We have fully cooperated with the inquiry," the agency quoted her as saying.

Jagali works for a multinational company in Bengaluru. According to reports, he and Manoranjan D -- an accused arrested in the case earlier -- were roommates during their college days.

Spanda said her brother had done "nothing wrong". "Both Manoranjan and Saikrishna Jagali were roommates. Now my brother works from home", she told PTI.

A 50-year-old man named Atul Kulshreshtha from UP’s Jalaun district was also arrested along with Krishna, a ToI report said.
