Communication Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia
Communications minister Jyotiraditya Scindia met telecom sector CEOs Wednesday and brainstormed on a comprehensive strategy to develop locally-manufactured tech products as well as ways to combat spam and cyber fraud.

“We deliberated on critical issues with telecom Industry CEOs today during IMC-2024, and drew up an action plan to work on areas, ranging from developing new `Made In India’ tech products to fighting spam/frauds and ramping up telecom infrastructure for 100% inclusion,” Scindia said in a post on microblogging site, X, on Day 2 of IMC-2024.

The meetings, he said, reflected government-industry partnership at its best, and he voiced confidence that this forum would enable new age technologies to gain momentum in India.
