The Supreme Court will, on September 12, hear a clutch of petitions challenging the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019. A Bench, headed by Chief Justice of India UU Lalit, will decide on over 200 petitions challenging the CAA. The petitions had come up for hearing for the first time in the top court in December 2019.
