The Supreme Court Friday posted a petition filed by Andhra Pradesh government seeking "fair, equitable and expeditious" division of assets and liabilities between itself and Telangana to the second week of January.Counsel for Andhra government argued before a division bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna and M M Sundresh that the instant situation was an "extraordinary situation". The bench, however, observed that similar matters were pending adjudication before the top court.
