SC collegium recommends transfer of 7 high court judges

SC Collegium has recommended transfer of seven high court judges, four of them from the Karnataka High Court. Recommending the transfers, the collegium in its resolution, posted on its website, said the transfers have been recommended "with a view to infuse inclusivity and diversity at the level of high courts and to strengthen the quality of administration of justice".

The recommendations were made by the SC Collegium at its meetings held on April 15 and 19.

Justice Heman Chandanagoudar has been recommended to be transferred from Karnataka HC to Madras HC, justice Krishnan Natarajan from Karnataka to Kerala HC, justice Neranahalli Srinivasan Sanjay Gowda from Karnataka to Gujarat HC, justice Perugu Sree Sudha from Telangana to Karnataka HC, justice Kasoju Surendhar from Telangana to Madras HC, justice Dr Kumbhajadala Manmadha Rao from Andhra Pradesh to Karnataka HC and justice Dixit Krishna Sripad from Karnataka to Orissa HC.
