Sanjay Raut vs Sudhanshu Trivedi: War of words over ‘Vote Chori’ claims after Mahayuti BMC win

Mumbai’s civic polls witnessed a sharp political confrontation as Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut alleged voter list discrepancies, EVM glitches and questioned the Election Commission’s conduct. Raut claimed names of voters were missing in opposition strongholds and raised concerns over exit polls surfacing early. Responding strongly, BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi dismissed the allegations, accused UBT of political inconsistency and said the people of Maharashtra would give a fitting reply at the ballot box.
