​​​​Salman Khan responds after video shows 'Tiger 3' fans bursting crackers inside movie theatre

Actor Salman Khan has reacted after a video doing rounds on social media showed fans of the Bollywood start bursting firecrackers inside a movie theatre during the screening of his film 'Tiger 3'. The incident was reported from a theatre in n Malegaon in Maharashtra's Nashik district, according to the police.

"I'm hearing about fireworks inside theaters during Tiger3. This is dangerous. Let's enjoy the film without putting ourselves and others at risk. Stay safe," Salman Khan said on social media platform X.

During the screening of the movie, a group of fans burst firecrackers inside the theatre, causing panic among moviegoers. According to Press Trust of India, the Maharashtra Police is probing the incident and are in the process of registering an offence under sections 435 (mischief by fire or explosive substance with intent to cause damage) and 336 (act endangering life or personal safety of others) of the Indian Penal Code.




After watching the video clip of fans bursting crackers inside the movie hall, many netizens raised concern. "This is very scary.. how do we make ppl more vigilant on safety for self and others... it is good to enjoy the movie but not at risk not property and life," said an user.

Some questioned how firecrackers made their way into the theatre. "How did so many fireworks get in the theatre. Security?" said another user.

"How can theater management allow crackers inside the theater. It's mistake of theater management, allowing crackers inside the cinema hall. System should take action against the management," said another user.

Tiger 3 Review

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Tiger 3 marks the comeback of masala entertainers like Pathaan, Jawan and Gadar 2 that helped revive the struggling theatrical business this year.

"It’s time to add yet another prominent title to this distinguished list: Tiger 3. Excellent second half, solid action pieces, superb cameos and of course, a ferocious Salman Khan," he wrote on X.

Tiger 3 Box Office Collection

"Tiger 3" was released on Diwali n Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. According to production banner Yash Raj Films (YRF), the movie has amassing Rs 94 crore worldwide in box office collection, the highest opening day collection of a Salman Khan movie. In a post on X, YRF said the film had earned Rs 94 crore in global gross, making the film the highest earning Diwali release in Hindi cinema.

"Tiger 3" collected Rs 52.50 crore gross in India (Rs 44.50 crore nett) and Rs 41.50 crore from the overseas markets, the studio said.

Taran Adarsh in a tweet said that Tiger 3 was reported to have done strong business on Monday too.
