BJP president JP Nadda on Friday said that sacrifice of Assam Rifles jawans in Manipur won't go in vain.

Militants on November 13 last in Manipur’s Churachandpur district attacked an Assam Rifles convoy resulting in the death of an Assam Rifles Colonel, his two family members and four jawans.

Nadda, while addressing a rally in Manipur, said: “Anti Indian forces were growing in Manipur before the BJP led government came to power in the state.”


The BJP led government came to power in 2018. He said, “There was criminalisation of politics. There was a rift between the hill and valley besides the days witnessed several days of bandhs and blockades.”

He said that the Narendra Modi government restored stability through ‘sabka saath, sabka vikash.”
