Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the "neo-Nazi" government of Ukraine wants to keep the "questionable activities of its citizens under wraps." "They were reportedly involved in supplying EU-made drones, training in drone assembly/repair, and conducting electronic warfare," said Zakharova.

Further, she criticised Ukraine, portraying it as a destabilising force globally and accusing it of enabling the spread of conflict beyond its borders.
Russia further claimed that weapons provided to Ukraine by NATO and the European Union were poorly tracked and risked ending up on global black markets, potentially reaching criminal cartels and terrorist organisations.

One American and six Ukrainians allegedly infiltrated from Myanmar into the Northeast and were apprehended by the NIA at three airports. The tip off for these arrests came from Russia which shares strong counter-terror ties with India.
