RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat likely to meet UP CM Adityanath in Gorakhpur today

New Delhi: In his first tour after the Lok Sabha polls, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat is visiting Gorakhpur, the home district of UP CM Yogi Adityanath. Both the leaders are likely to meet on Saturday in the backdrop of BJP's poor performance in the state.

RSS has also called a three-day coordination meeting of its allied organisations in Palakkad in Kerala from August 31 to September 2. BJP president JP Nadda and general secretary (organisation) BL Santhosh are expected to attend the meeting.

If BJP fails to appoint a working president by then, the issue may come up for discussion at the meeting.


This would be the first formal meeting between the brass of RSS and BJP after the Lok Sabha results.
