RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat begins two-day Assam visit, to travel to Manipur next

Guwahati: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat arrived in Assam on Monday for a two-day tour. As part of the organisation’s programmes to commemorate 100 years of the RSS, Bhagwat will also visit Manipur.

The visit is part of the broader RSS centenary calendar, which includes a wide outreach. He will hold two meetings — one with intellectuals and another with young minds.

Sources said Bhagwat will address a citizens’ meet on Tuesday, where prominent litterateurs, editors and industrialists are expected to participate in discussions.


Bhagwat will leave for Manipur on November 20, where he will hold similar programmes.
