The RSS on Tuesday supported the government stand in Supreme Court on same-sex marriage. "Marriage as an institution must be as per Bharatiya Chintan (Indian Philosophy). It is not even a contract or just individual enjoyment. If two individuals have other choices, it cannot be called marriage as per the social-cultural tradition," RSS general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale said in a press conference at Samalkha after three days of annual RSS meet. The three- day RSS annual meeting ended on Tuesday with the organisation deciding to move ahead with a five- point agenda. Claiming that many have tried to "distort" the history of India and Hindutva over the years, RSS has resolved to speed up measures to bring a change in the narrative and restore the country's prestige.
