Results for CUET UG 2022 declared, over 19,000 students score in the 100th percentile

"The candidates have applied for 54,555 unique combinations of subjects across 90 universities. The total number of question papers was 2,219 and the number of the question was 50,476," the NTA has said..
Of the nine lakh students that appeared for the exam, 19,865 scored in the 100th percentile.
English, Political Science and Business Studies had the most students at the top, with 8,236, 2,065 and 1,669 respectively.
Other subjects that had more than 1,000 students in the highest percentile are - Biology, Economics and Psychology. Hindi (875), Accountancy (422), Geography (326), History (893) and Sociology (261) also had people in the 100th percentile.
A committee headed by a senior professor from Indian Statistical Institution, Delhi, and comprising senior professors from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and University of Delhi had detailed deliberations to arrive at the methodology for scoring the CUET.
The CUET UG is using a equipercentile method.
There are no marks being declared for the exam, with students getting a percentile result that is normalised across all the phases of the exam.
Reports of technical glitches were also seen in the first ever edition of the CUET, with tests postponed in 60 centres
The CUET UG Answer Key was officially released on August 8. Candidates were given time till 5 pm of September 10 to challenge the answer key.
