In a move to facilitate the public attending the Republic Day parade at Kartavya Path on January 26, Delhi Metro officials announced adjustments in service timings. Starting at 4 am, all metro lines will operate with a 30-minute headway until 6 am, with regular schedules resuming thereafter. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) emphasized the importance of possessing valid e-invitation cards or e-tickets, providing details on how attendees can navigate the metro stations seamlessly.

Service Details

Services during the early hours aim to accommodate attendees, with trains available every 30 minutes until 6 am. Following this, the metro will adhere to its regular timetable for the remainder of the day.

Coupon System for Republic Day Ceremony Attendees

For those in possession of bona fide e-invitation cards or e-tickets, the DMRC introduced a coupon system. These coupons will be issued upon presenting government-issued identity cards at stations and will only be valid for exits from Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan stations leading to Kartavya Path. The same coupon facilitates return journeys from these two stations.
