A Faridabad resident named Soyab has been arrested for harbouring terrorist Umar Un Nabi, the driver of the explosive-laden car that blew in front of the Red Fort, immediately before the Delhi terror bomb blast.
A resident of Dhauj, Faridabad (Haryana), Soyab is the seventh accused to be arrested in the case.
Investigations have revealed that the latest arrested man had also provided logistical support to the terrorist Umar before 10/11 car bombing, the NIA said in a release.
The NIA has made six arrests so far: Dr Muzammil Shakeel Ganai of Pulwama, Dr Adeel Ahmed Rather of Anantnag, Mufti Irfan Ahmad Wagay of Shopian, all residents of Jammu and Kashmir, and Dr Shaheen Saeed of Lucknow in UP; Amir Rashid Ali, in whose name the car used in the blast was registered, and Jasir Bilal Wani, alias Danish, who had provided technical aid to the terrorist involved in the deadly attack.
The blast on November 10 came shortly after an interstate "white-collar" terror module was busted with the recovery of around 3,000 kg of explosives, including ammonium nitrate, mainly from Faridabad in Haryana.
