Mumbai: The Reserve Bank of India has elevated five senior officers to the post of executive director. These include Gunveer Singh, Monisha Chakraborty, Suman Ray, Sudhakar Malli and Ravi Shankar, according to an internal order issued by the central bank's human resource management department.

Four of the newly empanelled executive directors - Gunveer Singh, Monisha Chakraborty, Suman Ray and Sudhakar Malli - belong to the common seniority group (CSG) cadre, while Ravi Shankar is from the department of statistics and information management (DSIM) cadre.

The officers are currently posted across key RBI departments in Mumbai, including the Central Office and Mumbai Regional Office. The RBI said the effective date of their promotions will be announced separately.
