Ram Temple CEO selection delayed after 5,200 apply
The Trust received over five thousand applications for the chief executive officer position. A committee requested an additional month to complete the selection process. The Trust also decided to appoint a secretary for temple management purposes....

While accepting the request of the committee, the trust which held its meeting in Ayodhya on Friday, granted its permission to appoint a secretary to ensure proper management of the temple keeping in mind the delay in the appointment of the CEO. The trust expects possible growth in the number of pilgrims visiting the temple in coming times.

At its July 6 meeting, the trust had constituted a three-member committee for the appointment of chief executive officer of trust. The three members are Justice (retd) Pramod Kohli, Lieutenant General (retd) Vishnukant Chaturvedi and Suresh JI Havare.
The next meeting of the trust will be held on September 2.
The trust also underlined the need for a proper communication with the people through media and thus, decided to appoint a spokesperson of the trust.

At its meeting, the trust also discussed the issues relating to fill the three vacancies of the trustees. However, the trust sought more time to take a final decision on this important issue.
Meanwhile, the trust also re-constituted a religious committee to ensure proper worship of the God as per the "Vedic" and "Ramanadiya" tradition in the temple regularly. The committee will accommodate five religious figures of Ayodhya. Since the rule says that a trustee will chair all such committees, the trust has selected Govind Dev Giri, who is a trustee and treasurer of the trust, as the chairperson of the religious committee. One main task of the committee will be proper communication with the Ayodhya-based "Math", temples, "Sadhus", and "Gurukuls".
