TimesNow reported that the installation will take place at 12.30 pm on the said date.
PM Modi also took to social media platform X, to share that he has been invited to the ceremony.
"Today is a day full of emotions. Recently the officials of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust had come to meet me at my residence. He has invited me to come to Ayodhya on the occasion of consecration of Shri Ram temple. I feel very blessed. It is my good fortune that in my lifetime, I will witness this historic occasion.," he wrote on X.
The construction of the ground floor of the three-storey Ram temple in Ayodhya will be completed by December-end, temple Construction Committee Chairperson Nripendra Mishra had said last month.
The temple trust had decided to start the process of the consecration of Ram Lalla after Makar Sankranti on January 14, and observe a 10-day ritual of Ram Lalla's 'pran pratishtha' (consecration).
The Ram temple in Ayodhya is likely to open for devotees on January 24 after the consecration of Ram Lalla idol, Mishra, a member of the trust, had said in June.
