Rajinikanth to Vijay Sethupathi, Trisha to Jyothika: Strong turnout of Tamil stars at polling booths

A host of film personalities stepped out to vote across Chennai during the Tamil Nadu elections, adding visibility to the polling process. Among those who cast their votes were Ajith Kumar, Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan along with Shruti Haasan, Suriya and Jyothika. Actors Dhanush, Vijay Sethupathi, Trisha Krishnan and Arvind Swamy were also seen at polling booths, while Prabhu and Vikram Prabhu voted in T. Nagar. Cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin and his wife Prithi Narayanan also participated in the voting process. The turnout of well-known faces highlighted civic participation, with several celebrities urging people—especially first-time voters—to step out and exercise their franchise.
