Presenting the budget Rajasthan Finance Minister Diya Kumari announced to fill 400,000 job vacancies over five years, and several other measures for youth including introducing 'Rajasthan Youth Icon Award' to recognise young achievers.
She also announced free tablets with internet will be provided to meritorious school students in the state.
Similarly for farmers, the budget proposed to provide interest-free loans for five lakh new farmers, set up 500 new Farmers Producers Organisation.
On religious front, a special provision of Rs 100 crore has been made in the budget for the corridor at Khatu Shyam temple.
Kumari, who is also Deputy Chief Minister of the state, also announced to allocate ₹15,000 crore to provide tap water to 25 lakh rural households. And set up 20 hand pumps in every assembly segment of Rajasthan.
