Punjab Terror Conspiracy Case: NIA chargesheets Landa's 2 aides

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed charges against two key associates of designated terrorist Lakhbir Singh, also known as Landa, in a Punjab terror case. Jaspreet Singh and Baljeet Singh were identified as members of Landa's gang.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) said on Wednesday that it has filed a charge sheet against two key associates of designated terrorist Lakhbir Singh, also known as Landa, of the banned Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) organisation. The charge sheet was submitted on Tuesday before the NIA Special Court in Mohali, Punjab.
New Delhi: NIA has chargesheeted two key aides of designated individual terrorist Lakhbir Singh, alias Landa, of the banned Babbar Khalsa International in a Punjab terror conspiracy case.

Jaspreet Singh, alias Jass, of Ferozepur district in Punjab and Baljeet Singh, alias Rana Bhai, of Barwani district in MP were chargesheeted before the NIA special court, Mohali.

They were identified by NIA as members of a gang formed by foreign-based Khalistani terrorist Landa.


NIA probe found Jass to be an important on-ground operative of Landa and his associate Pattu Khaira, while Rana Bhai was involved in supplying weapons to members of the Landa gang and other gangsters.
