Prof Jagdish Mukhi takes oath as Nagaland governor

Assam Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi took oath as the Governor of Nagaland in addition to his present responsibility. He was sworn in as the 20th Governor of Nagaland by the Judge of Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench Justice Songkhupchung Setro at a solemn function held at Dr.Imkongliba Ao Hall, Raj Bhavan Kohima.

The swearing in ceremony which was executed by Chief Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, J Alam, also saw the presence of the Chief Minister of Nagaland Neiphiu Rio, Deputy Chief Minister, Speaker NLA, ministers of the state government, senior officers of the state and central government and other dignitaries.

Recently Nagaland Governor R N Ravi was shifted to Tamil Nadu.
