The logo comprises of a lotus, the national flower of India, painted in tri-colour (Saffron, White and Green) along with a representation of the Earth.
The theme for the G20 presidency is 'Vasudhev Kutumbakam' meaning one Earth, one family.
"India is now about to take leadership of G20; it's a matter of great opportunity for India in its 75th year of Independence," ANI quoted PM Modi as saying.
India will assume the presidency of the powerful grouping from current chair Indonesia on December 1.

The G20 summit will take place in Bali on November 15-16 and Modi is set to be among the top leaders attending it.
The G20 is the premier forum for international economic cooperation, representing around 85 per cent of the global GDP, more than 75 per cent of the global trade and about two-thirds of the world population.
"The G20 summit to be held next year would be one of the highest profile international gatherings to be hosted by India," it added.
India is currently part of the G20 Troika (current, previous and incoming G20 presidencies) comprising Indonesia, Italy and India.
