The dishes will be served when visitors arrive at the temple grounds, and later on, prasad will be served, which includes "Ram laddoo and peda." During the entire day, over a lakh packs containing these offerings could be served to guests, as reported by IANS.
Chefs from Delhi and Varanasi will showcase their culinary skills to prepare these dishes. To ensure a seamless execution of tasks, a school's assembly hall has been converted into a kitchen.
"The devotees arriving for Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Ayodhya, renowned for its spiritual significance, will be served satvik vegetarian food along with phalahari (non-cereal) and millet-based dishes," Mukesh Meshram, principal secretary, culture and tourism told IANS.
Especially for the January 22 event, all the culinary arrangements for a limited group of VVIPs will be managed by the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
All the ingredients to make prasad have been brought in from another holy city, Varanasi. Around 300 tonnes of ration will be used to make the dishes. The staples required to make these dishes include rice, spices, and vegetables.
Once the Ram Mandir is inaugurated, the Uttar Pradesh government expects the arrival of 2.2 million Hindus to Ayodhya every day.
