Singer KK dies after performing at a concert in Kolkata at the age of 53
Krishnakumar Kunnath, 53, popularly known as KK, died while performing a concert on Nazrul Manch, Kolkata on 31st May 2022.
He was a popular Indian playback singer. He was regarded as one of the most versatile singers of his generation.
Born to Hindu Malayali parents, Krishnakumar Kunnath was brought up in New Delhi.
KK sang 3,500 jingles before breaking into Bollywood.
He was an alumnus of Delhi's Mount St Mary's School and graduated from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University.
