PM Narendra Modi to visit Maharashtra on June 14

The PM will attend the Dwishatabdi Mahotsav. Fardunjee Marzbanji began printing Mumbai Samachar as a weekly on July 1, 1822. In 1832, it was renamed a daily.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Maharashtra on June 14 where he will inaugurate the Sant Tukaram Maharaj Temple in Pune, open the Jal Bhushan Building and Gallery of Revolutionaries at Raj Bhawan in Mumbai.

The PM will also be attending the Dwishatabdi Mahotsav of Mumbai Samachar at Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai.

The Jal Bhushan has served as the Governor of Maharashtra's official home since 1885. It was demolished later on to make way for a new structure.

A postal stamp will be issued to mark the occasion of this historically significant accomplishment.
