Accompanied by the state’s chief secretary Radha Raturi and other senior officials, CM Dhami on Monday visited Harshil-Mukhaba area to personally inspect the preparations being made for the proposed visit of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The Uttarakhand government aims to promote winter tourism across the state with the help of PM Modi’s proposed visit.
CM Dhami said the arrival of Prime Minister Modi is always a very auspicious occasion for Uttarakhand and its people. Following the PM’s visit and his stay at Kedarnath shrine, Mana, and Aadikailash in the past, the number of devotees and tourists visiting these places has increased significantly.
He also recalled the arrival of the Prime Minister in the Investors Summit also yielded good results. He said MoUs were signed for capital investment worth three and a half lakh crore rupees in the state and till now the grounding of investment of more than eighty thousand crore rupees has started in the state. PM Modi recently inaugurated the National Games 2025 hosted by Uttarakhand. “Devbhoomi has also earned the reputation of Khel Bhoomi,” Dhami said..
During his field inspection today, the Chief Minister took stock of all the arrangements made from Harshil to Mukhwa for the proposed visit of the Prime Minister. While reviewing the preparations, CM Dhami directed the officials to keep all the necessary arrangements to make the visit of the Prime Minister Modi memorable and well organized. He also inspected the pandal, stage and exhibition site being built for the proposed public meeting in Harshil.
