Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that any future terrorist attacks on India would have severe repercussions for Pakistan's military and economy. Speaking at a rally in Bikaner, where he launched infrastructure projects worth ₹26,000 crore, Mo...
"Those who had set out to wipe sindoor have been put to dust. Those who used to spill the blood of Hindustan have been made to pay for each drop of blood. Those who used to think Bharat will stay silent are today holed up in their homes. Those who used to be arrogant about their arsenal are buried under piles of debris. This is not a game to attack and revenge, but a new form of justice. This is Operation Sindoor," Modi said in a charged speech at a rally in Bikaner, where he also launched infrastructure projects worth over ₹26,000 crore.
Modi said Operation Sindoor was not an outrage but a display of the country's unwavering strength and determination. "Earlier we had entered their homes to attack, now we have struck directly at their heart," he said. With an enthusiastic crowd responding to his speech, he said, "Not blood but hot sindoor is flowing through Modi's veins." He credited the people's spirit and the valour of defence forces for this success.
"For decades, it was a practice that Pakistan would spread terror, kill innocents and create an atmosphere of fear in India. But it forgot that now Modi is facing it upfront. Modi's mind is cool but his blood is hot," he said.
"Any terrorist attack on India will lead to severe consequences. Pakistan will pay a heavy price which will be borne not just by its military but its economy as well." He warned if Pakistan continued exporting terrorists, it would face economic ruin. Modi reiterated that India would not allow Pakistan access to its rightful share of water and that playing with Indian blood would come at a steep cost. "This resolve is India's commitment, one that no force in the world can shake," he said.
"On April 22, terrorists had wiped the sindoor from the forehead of our sisters after asking their religion. Those bullets were fired in Pahalgam but had pierced the hearts of 140 crore Indians. After this, every Indian had unitedly taken a pledge that we will decimate terrorists and give them punishment beyond their imagination. Today, with your blessings and the valour of our armed forces, we have lived up to this pledge," he said.
Modi reiterated that after the terror attack, his government had given a free hand to the three wings of the military. "They unitedly created a chakravyuh that brought Pakistan on its knees," he said, adding: "In response to the April 22 attack, we destroyed nine most prominent camps of terrorists in 22 minutes. The world and our enemies have witnessed what the outcome is when sindoor becomes ammunition."
