According to PM Modi, he had the chance to see the "majestic Shankaracharya Hill from a distance." After Article 370 was removed five years ago, PM Modi is making his first trip to Kashmir.

PM Modi was in Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday where he unveiled development projects worth more than Rs 6,400 crore and addressed a public meeting. He participated in the 'Viksit Bharat Viksit Jammu Kashmir' programme and dedicated to nation about Rs 5000 crore worth programme for boosting agri-economy in Jammu and Kashmir. This was the first visit of the Prime Minister to Kashmir after the abrogation of Article 370.
