PM Modi US Visit: From space to jet engines, India-US ink game-changing pacts

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) are developing a strategic framework for human spaceflight operations this year according to senior US Administration officials. This comes amidst Prime Minister Narendra Modi's first State visit to the US. GE Aerospace, a company based in the United States, has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) in order to manufacture fighter jet engines for the Indian Air Force.
