New Delhi: The Business Advisory Committee of Lok Sabha met on Thursday to decide about the dates for debate on Presidential Address. Sources tell ET that in the meeting it was decided that a total of 18 hours of discussion will be held in the Lok Sabha.

In Lok Sabha the discussion will take place on February 2, 3, and 4 and it will end with PM Modi's reply on February 4. A time of 16 hours has been allotted for the debate in the Rajya Sabha and PM's reply will take place on February 5. The schedule for discussion on General Budget has also been finalised during the BAC meeting. A total of 18 hours have been allotted for the Budget discussion in Lok Sabha. The discussion will take place on February 5, 9, 10 and 11 in the Lok Sabha. Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman will reply to the Budget discussion in the LS on February 11.
