PM Modi to release Rs 19,500 crore to 9.75 crore farmers under PM Kisan on August 9

Rs 19,500 crore will be released to more than 9.75 crore beneficiary farmer families Under the PM-KISAN scheme on August 9, said the Union Ministry of Agriculture.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the amount, which is the next instalment of PM KISAN via video conferencing.

Under the PM-KISAN scheme, Rs 6000 per year is given to the eligible beneficiary farmer families, an installment of Rs 2000 every four months. The fund is transferred directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. In this scheme, Samman Rashi of over Rs. 1.38 lakh crores has been transferred to farmer families so far.
